Community Life: Outreach

At Immanuel, we are committed to helping our neighbors within our community and worldwide. Here are some of the ministries we are involved with along with a brief description:

CROP WALK

Crop Walk is a symbolic walk within our community to raise money for the hungry - locally and worldwide.

FOOD BARRELS

Non-perishable food donations are collected on a year round basis for the needy in the Attleboro area.

FOOD 'N FRIENDS

On the first Saturday of each month, members of the congregation help prepare and serve a hot meal for the needy in the Attleboro area.

STAND WITH AFRICA

Lent 2001 marked the launch of Stand With Africa - a three year campaign of Lutheran World Relief, the ELCA World Hunger Program and LCMS World Relief. The campaign supports African churches and communities as they withstand HIV/AIDS, banish hunger and build peace. It gives special emphasis to an often forgotten continent that is a place of promise and progress, despite its problems.
